We started the research portion of our portfolio this week. Creating the blog was a pretty fun experience for me considering the fact that this is still new to me. I have looked over and reviewed a HUGEEE amount of examples and past portfolios for this project. Reviewing the sample work provided was extremely helpful towards me and I hope that I can live up to the expectations of this project. So far, I've narrowed down some of the most important decisions to about 2 or 3 but I am still a little unsure of which ones to actually go with. For example the genre, I know that I don't want to do a musical of any sort that being said I am going to choose between drama and horror. Still a bit unsure of what kind of content I want to create and what meaning I want it to portray. It will be a huge help when I get a journal to write down all the little notes I believe are important. I tend to get distracted a little bit and procrastinate but I know that it will not benefit me in any way
The type of movie I am trying to create is a movie that will grab my viewers attention but at the same time make sure they understand what exactly it is I am trying to get across. I want to create a romantic drama genre film with a story line that everyone will get and comprehend well enough. Personally I enjoy a really good drama film with alogside something that makes viewers not know what to expect next. Although I am aware that not everyone enjoys the same thing I still intend on making this film enjoyable for everyone. Some of the most common themes of a romantic drama are love at first sight, forbidden love, or even a tragic love. Personally, I would like to create a tragic love romantic drama. I recently just came up with an idea that I think will be really good. Most importantly I am really interested in my idea and am very excited to see how it turns out. The
During this process, the form of technology I used was FlipaClip. It is a popular animation app that is used y most artists who enjoy to draw and animate. I used this source of technology because it was my next best option. I downloaded almost every animation app in the App Store until I came across this one. I checked out the reviews online, found tutorials on YouTube and tested it out for myself. Once I did all of that, I knew it was one the technologies that would be very useful for me. While using FlipaClip I learned that nothing ever comes as easy as it may seem. When I first started out, I was doing great until I played it back. It was playing back and it went by in two seconds. After trying to figure where I went wrong I realized that it was based on the amount of flips per second (fps). It all started to make sense soon after and things started to get better for me. I used so many YouTube tutorials I lost count. I can't even say they were a waste of time because they wer
