Technology and Equipment
For the purpose of this film project, the technology that I will be using will be quite limited. I don't have access to a real life camera or even a GoPro camera. That being said I am only limited to using my cellphone. I really think that using my cellphone would be quite the challenge but then again I would like to say my phone has a great camera quality. But it doesn't really matter what kind of quality my phone has because I will not technically be using the camera. As I mentioned in previous posts, I don't have anyone to act in my film. As a result to this, I decided to turn my project into an animation. The app I will be using for this animation will be FlipaClip.
So far, with quite the research I have done I have learned a lot about production technologies. Having no access to a camera is a bit difficult for me. Honestly I truly believe that I can find some sort of way to complete this project. As for lighting, I know how to maneuver the app in order to get the effect that I wish to get. Whether it is that I want to establish some sort of lowkey lighting or even a fade in/out. But I am sort of nervous especially because it is an animation and it is not what is technically expected when first thought of this film project.
When it comes down to how exactly to use the app chosen for my project, I found a tutorial on YouTube. First I watched an animation tutorial on the CeeSaw channel it showed me step by step how to work within the app. For extra purposes I watched another video from Garvit Bhatnagar , with this channel they have made multiple animations using FlipaClip which was really helpful.
