Film Pitch
Surprisingly enough, this section actually made me a nervous wreck! I was so scared for some reason and I just couldn't put my finger on why. One thing I can is that these templates that are being provided are super helpful.
I do have to admit that I was a little weird out the fact that I wasn't actually talking to someone. It was just me sitting against a wall in my bedroom on my phone. It was so different for me because it was something I had never experienced before and was VERY nervous to do. One thing I regret not doing before was actually practicing how I was going to speak and give the responses. I was worried that I was speaking too softly, too loudly, touching my glasses and I even got a phone call in the middle of recording. There was a point when I was recording that I was doing so good and then messed up! I then decided to just edit the two parts together because I knew that was the best I was going to get out of all my epic fails. Eventually I completed the video and just began to edit, I was worried that I mispronounced a word or that something else bad happened.
After a long time of recording, errors, laughing, and editing I finally submitted my film pitch and I think I did fairly well. Whenever I do an assignment for this class I always try to spend as much time as I can on it because I have no type of prior knowledge of this course and it is still so new to me. So I have been oing everything to the best of my ability and hopefully all my hard work is going to pay off during the final production of this film opening. I don't really have much to say about this stage. But I can say that this section was fun to prepare and film.
