Script
This was probably the start of where things started to get really stressful for me. From having to research every bit of information to making sure that I have is down to detail.
For research specifically, it wasn't really much considering the fact that I was provided with many examples. I basically just looked over the past blogs and what certain approach they decided to take. Alongside with this, I searched up the average scripts for romantic dramas considering the fact that it is the drama that I decided to choose.
When actually sitting down and typing away as I wrote the script for my film project, I realized that it wasn't as bad as I though it was going to be. Even way before we started the project I was reviewing over the pace chart and I said to myself "yep. that is exactly where I'm going to be caught up and stuck on." I have a hard time asking for help and I tend to overthink a lot. So when I actually started to plan out how I wanted this to work out it was sort of a struggle for me. Lots of pens and pencils were used, lots of papers being torn out of notebooks and lots of just giving up at some point. After I finally got encouraged I sat in a quiet environment and just jotted down notes of what I wanted to be portrayed in the film opening. I sort of knew what direction I wanted to go and then I started to overthink which led me to worry even more thinking I wouldn't be able to make the deadline. I finally created up with multiple drafts, which I assume is normal for the average screenwriter of any production company, and then as I began to fill in the areas of the template I realized some of the things that I initially wanted to do wouldn't exactly work our for me. So you guessed it, back to square one... or so I thought. I saw that I actually did not have to change my entire opening but just to make a few adjustments.
I wanted to add a little bit of a sneak peak but at the same time not reveal so much!
