 Considering that my film is an animation, there won't be as many camera effects that I would like. I found tutorials online that showed step by step on how to make my animation look like it's a moving frame. I used the standard titles for a romantic drama and also the specific font and sizes. One of the many effects that I used is a fade in, during the beginning of the film there is a fade in to the first scene of the project. The reason for all of this is because even though my film isn't like others, I still want it to portray as a real project with actual actors. Well at the beginning of the film when the credits are rolling, I am going to add a sort of ballad that is typically used in my genre's film. Not technically the same as someone else's from another film but something in that area that relates to it. During this process, the form of technology I used was FlipaClip.  It is a popular animation app that is used y most artists who enjoy to draw and animate. I used this source of technology because it was my next best option. I downloaded almost every animation  app in the App Store until I came across this one. I checked out the reviews online, found tutorials on YouTube and tested it out for myself. Once I did all of that, I knew it was one the technologies that would be very useful for me. While using FlipaClip I learned that nothing ever comes as easy as it may seem. When I first started out, I was doing great until I played it back. It was playing back and it went by in two seconds. After trying to figure where I went wrong I realized that it was based on the amount of flips per second (fps). "A-ha" moments or learning experiences As for the "a-ha!" moments for this project, there were a lot. Most time they come from occasions when I finally got the right measurements I needed. Other times there would be a situation Changes and revisions made to the project during production Outtakes or "bloopers" 

 I wanted to give an update on the production of my film. For this week specifically, it was our time in and out of class to film. This may be a little repetitive in my blog posts but I feel like I just have to mention it every time LOL. Yet again, I don't have any actors. For the productions stage it was quite a bit challenging for me not even going to lie. 

  While drawing some certain shots of my film, some of them were not so difficult. Of course there are always challenges but at times there easier parts. I'm glad that the app I'm using has other tools such as different brush sizes, colors, and even rulers. I am not really the artist type but I have been trying really hard and I think it does show in my project. At some point while I was trying to draw the main characters and quickly realized that once again I'm not an artist. I know I keep repeating myself but it's the truth. Soon after I thought it was best to just pull an old school style and use stick people. Honestly I am kind of nervous about this decision because I know that is not really what is expected. But then again the idea of an animation is also not expected. I guess you can just say I'm going out on a few limbs here which just so happen to be working out just fine for me. For the purpose of this film project, the technology that I will be using will be quite limited. I don't have access to a real life camera or even a GoPro camera. That being said I am only limited to using my cellphone. I really think that using my cellphone would be quite the challenge but then again I would like to say my phone has a great camera quality. But it doesn't really matter what kind of quality my phone has because I will not technically be using the camera. As I mentioned in previous posts, I don't have anyone to act in my film. As a result to this, I decided to turn my project into an animation. The app I will be using for this animation will be FlipaClip.  So far, with quite the research I have done I have learned a lot about production technologies. Having no access to a camera is a bit difficult for me. Honestly I truly believe that I can find some sort of way to complete this project. As for lighting, I know how to maneuver the app in order to get the effe...

 1. The preliminary storyboard for my film is also the final storyboard. I will admit that at the beginning of creating the storyboard, it was difficult because I had to get every single detail. To be completely honest I didn't the storyboard was going to be much work at all.  2. As for my shooting schedule, it should take about two weeks. Provided the time given, if I stick to the schedule I set in place, this film should be finished on time.  3. For technology I need in order to take action and get started with this film is basically my phone. I now a certain amount of tricks and editing tools/apps that can be used to help with the production of this film.

 This week we started scheduling for our projects and at first it was pretty confusing for me. I say this only because I wasn't exactly sure which app/website to use. I started off with one of the websites then for some reason about halfway through me finishing it up, I went to a different app to see if it would be any easier. Honestly I have absolutely no idea why I did that but in the end I went back to the initial website I was using. Making the decision of using Microsoft PowerPoint instead of any other scheduling website was a big risk that I took. Actually, I don't think risk is the correct word to use. I used what I was most familiar with and one that I trusted myself with. The process was not as bad as I made it seem before I even got started. I planed everything to the best of my ability and also according to what exactly will be best for me.  As far as planning every single move and action that I want to take, it is all planned down to the core. I want my film to feel like a classic romantic drama film. A film that no one has seen before but also reminds them of a previous one that they may have seen before. The look I want to go for is something that my viewers so "awww, that's so cute!" but at the same time make them go "woah wait a minute...WHAT!!!" As for the sound of the overall film, I want there to be sound but not too much to the point where it takes focus off the film itself. To achieve all of these looks and more that has been previously stated, I will put as much forth of the effort during the production of it all. From the shooting to the post production to the editing, I will stop at nothing to make my vision come to life and actually put it together on a screen.   For the purpose of this film project, I think I will record some sound. The locations of my film is sort of undecided but at the same time I have an idea but still all at the same time, I have no idea lol. It is basically mapped out in my head so I am just hoping that it will just piece together so that the outcome will be really great. I find it rather a bit of a challenge for me because I don't have actors so the question to ask myself would be "does it make sense to travel to real life shooting locations even though I have no one to act?" When I first started off with this film, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing! I didn't have any type or vision or inspiration of some sort to help kind of made it more known which path I wanted to take. I continued on and finally got inspired, although it was a bit in the later stage I still got it which I am proud of. Everything was going so well for me until another problem was in my way.  I know I have saying that some of the other parts have been confusing me but this one kind of did too lol. The work is technically confusing, I understand the instructions and everything but I just have a hard time of actually putting all of my thoughts into my final submission. For this part I started later that I had initially planned. Most of this is because I kept overthinking and back tracking to the script. I tried to say 'what if' and attempted to change around of the details and realized what I was doing was ridiculous and that is fine.  But I do have to admit this isn't as easy as I thought it was going to be. When I heard the idea of a storyboard I immediately thought of just the scenes and the mise-en-scene of the film. As I researched and looked up examples of storyboards of popular films I began to realize that it was no where NEAR to what I was expecting. The case study wasn't as difficult as the other parts of the project. I think what kind of confused me was the way it was supposed to be structured together. For this specific portion, I decided to work on it one piece at a time each day. For example on Monday I would get the research part done and just map out I'm what order I would place everything. I completed about 2-3 rough drafts before actually starting though. I thought I was going to regret spending so much time trying to get my information together and not actually working on the case study. That actually was not a big issue for me considering that I procrastinate a lot.  For the purpose of my case study, I chose the popular film The Notebook. I chose this film because it is popular in my genre and basically all around the board. It tells a great story and I really admire the way it is structured and wanted more details about the "behind the scenes" action. There a lot of information that I did not seem to k...

This was probably the start of where things started to get really stressful for me. From having to research every bit of information to making sure that I have is down to detail.  For research specifically, it wasn't really much considering the fact that I was provided with many examples. I basically just looked over the past blogs and what certain approach they decided to take. Alongside with this, I searched up the average scripts for romantic dramas considering the fact that it is the drama that I decided to choose.  When actually sitting down and typing away as I wrote the script for my film project, I realized that it wasn't as bad as I though it was going to be. Even way before we started the project I was reviewing over the pace chart and I said to myself "yep. that is exactly where I'm going to be caught up and stuck on." Surprisingly enough, this section actually made me a nervous wreck! I was so scared for some reason and I just couldn't put my finger on why. One thing I can is that these templates that are being provided are super helpful.  I do have to admit that I was a little weird out the fact that I wasn't actually talking to someone. It was just me sitting against a wall in my bedroom on my phone. It was so different for me because it was something I had never experienced before and was VERY nervous to do. One thing I regret not doing before was actually practicing how I was going to speak and give the responses. I was worried that I was speaking too softly, too loudly, touching my glasses and I even got a phone call in the middle of recording. There was a point when I was recording that I was doing so good and then messed up!
